Air Botswana, as a key stakeholder of the Civil Aviation Authority of Botswana, participated in a Foreign Object Debris (FOD) walk that aimed at detecting and removing foreign object debris on aircraft movement areas at the Sir Seretse Khama International Airport (SSKIA). Amongst other, the activity was conducted to promote safety at SSKIA aircraft movement areas under the theme; “if you see it, pick it”. Given that safety is a number one priority of the national airline, the business continues to embark on sustainable environmental management practices that enhance the safety of its operations.
