Obonye Marage joins Air Botswana as Director Finance and Administration. Mr. Marage is a Chartered Accountant, spanning over 23 years industry experience in the fields of Accounting and Audit. He has worked for various institutions including Deloitte & Touche, BCL Limited, Minerals Development Company Botswana and Botswana Energy Regulatory Authority, where he held the position of Finance Manager prior to joining Air Botswana.  

Mr. Marage is a member of both the Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants (BICA) and Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), as Fellow Professional Chartered Accountant (FCPA) and Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) respectively. Moreover he, possess professional training such as;Leadership and Management Development Programmes at University of Johannesburg (UJ) and University of Stellenbosch Business School (USB) and has done Financial Modelling courses through University of Cape Town (UCT). Marage brings to the Airline a wealth of experience in strategy development, risk management and compliance, external audit, financial modelling and reporting, as well as leadership and stakeholder management.
