GENERAL INFORMATION ON CARGO SERVICES

Air Botswana accepts cargo for distribution to domestic and international destinations.
Fast and secure movement of goods is guaranteed. Classes of cargo that can be carried by Air Botswana (BP) Include:
General Cargo – This refers to cargo without dangerous or hazardous properties. A distinct feature of general cargo is that it does not require hazard related extra precautions or special handling procedures.
Special Cargo  – Primarily valuable shipments/consignments which require security handling and special attendance. These include perishables, live animals, human remains and other valuable assets. In some instances, special permits may be required for the transportation of items that fall in this class.

PACKAGING PROCEDURE

Proper packaging is extremely important to ensure shipments arrive at their destination in a good state. We highly recommend that the maximum weight per piece shall not exceed 120 kilograms for ease of handling. 

LOADING CAPACITY INFORMATION

Above the wing:
Weight 68 Kg per piece (Max) – 4000kgs
Dimensions (Height 60 x Length 45 x Width 40) cm  
 
Below the wing:
1200kgs (subject to confirmation)
Dimensions (Length 150 x Width 67 x Height 84) cm
Weight 120kg per piece.
