PRESS RELEASE - AIR BOTSWANA LAUNCHES ITS ALL-NEW MOBILE APP AND WHATSAPP LINE

29th August 2023, Gaborone - Botswana - Air Botswana has launched an all-new Mobile App and a WhatsApp Customer service line as part of its efforts towards enhancing service delivery and customer experience. The platforms will delight mobile phone users with a host of travel related services including booking, airfares, destinations, Teemane Loyalty Club and payment of tickets via their cellphones especially when using the Mobile App service which is available 24 hours of the day. The Android and iOS versions of the App are readily available for download from Playstore and Apple Store, respectively.

Simultaneously, the Air Botswana WhatsApp Customer line will also enhance customer engagement by connecting both new and existing customers at their comfort. The WhatsApp number, +267 77019076 is reachable from Botswana and all countries. The line is attended daily 07:30 until 16:30, weekdays and 09h00 to 11h00 on Saturdays. Customers can use the WhatsApp service to efficiently communicate with a Service Agent on a wide range of travel services including; enquiries, schedule, bookings, cargo and other service offerings.

Amongst other benefits, the Mobile App and WhatsApp platforms are expected to significantly improve accessibility of the airline’s services at the “click of a button” while on the move. Moreover, the Apps make it possible to deliver a personalized and interactive user experience, which will go a long way in improving service excellence.
