Basic Travel Tips
Follow these guidelines to ensure a pleasant and hassle-free flying experience:
1. Before You Fly:
- Consult Your Doctor: If you suffer from any medical conditions or are on long-term medication, talk to your doctor about your travel plans. Discuss any special precautions you may need to take when flying, and check if you need anti-malarial advice.
- Carry Medication: Keep your chronic medication in your checked baggage.
- Rest and Relax: Allow plenty of time for your journey to avoid rushing. Dress in loose, comfortable clothing and use a trolley to manage your luggage weight.
- Light Meals: Avoid heavy meals before your flight.
2.At the Airport:
- Baggage Tag: Ensure you get your baggage tag and verify it has the correct route/destination.
- Boarding Time: Check the boarding/departure time on your boarding pass.
- Security and Safety: Follow the security and safety regulations provided by our ground staff and cabin crew.
3.During the Flight:
- Mobile Phones: Ensure your mobile phones are switched off at all times once in the aircraft.
- Move Around: Try not to sit still for too long. When convenient, get out of your seat and move around the cabin. Stand up and stretch your arms and legs whenever permissible.
- Light Meals: Eat light meals and drink water frequently. Avoid excessive alcohol, coffee, and tea.
- Moisturize: Use moisturizer to keep your skin feeling fresh.
4.After You Land:
- Stimulate Circulation: Take a gentle stroll to help stimulate your circulation.
- Relax: If possible, put your feet up and relax.
